Whether prom elicits a dreadful or nostalgic feeling, you're encouraged to don your best '90s prom attire and get to the pop-up park by 5 p.m. If you need a little help in the wardrobe department, the Smak Parlour Fashion Truck will be onsite from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. carrying women's clothing and accessories. Sorry guys, you're on your own for this one.
But it should be said that it's imperative you take your ensemble seriously, because it's time for a high school tradition. The best dressed guy and gal (as voted by other attendees) will be crowned the evening's Prom King and Queen and will score $50 Visa gift cards.
Get your fill on snacks from food trucks Chewys (who'll have a menu based on "Napoleon Dynamite" favorites. Tots, yes!), Foolish Waffles, and Samosa Deb and capture the evening in the photo booth courtesy of the Trocadero.
And what would prom be without a bit of dancing? A DJ will play throwback '80s and '90s tunes until 9 p.m. when you're encouraged to kick off those boogie shoes and catch a screening of "Napoleon Dynamite."
