Smooth Jazz Summer Nights followed by Friday Night Lights

Smooth Jazz fills the waterfront every Friday night in August starting with keyboardist Alex Bugnon, an energetic force on the contemporary jazz scene, producing over nine albums and building up a huge fan base as a touring musician. Stay after the show for a beautiful landside fireworks display.
 

 
First Friday Park After Dark

This month's First Friday on the Race Street Pier, organized in collaboration with FringeArts, will feature a performance by the West Philadelphia Orchestra followed by a "Small Stake" event. This event allows the audience to participate in a micro granting program by voting on which dance performance is worthy of the night's prize.

 
The PECO Multicultural Series presents the ACANA African Festival

The 6th Annual ACANA African Musical, Dance and Cultural Festival, presented by PECO, will involve nonstop music, food, games and activities for the whole family. This year, award winning African musical and dance artists will take center stage throughout the day. Artists will include: Jodi, Rafiya, Joanne Tigress Rowley, Rotimi & De Afrophonik Crew, and many more

 
Yoga on the Race Street Pier

 The Race Street Pier is playing host to a free yoga class every Sunday throughout the summer led by Dhyana Yoga instructors. The popularity of this class has led to its extension throughout the summer season.
