With the sweet smell of victory still in the air after last week’s announcement of DOMA passing, what better way to continue the celebration of everything dear and queer than Philadelphia QFest; the largest gay film festival on the east coast.

This ground-breaking event will grace the city of brotherly love once again from July 11-22 with its bold cinematic offerings, bound to satiate everyone’s movie palate. This year’s festival features over one hundred selections, which include feature films, documentaries, short films, three east coast premieres and over fifty Philadelphia premieres.  The only thing wilder than the films are the parties. So, escape that summer heat and check out some of highlights headed your way this year.
