Baritone Meglioranza visits Philadelphia Chamber Music Society concerts sometimes as part of the Bach Gamut Ensemble, and this time he's singing a solo recital with pianist Reiko Uchida. His voice is sort of a rest cure from the truck-driver singing of grand opera, with superb diction and natural vocal elegance that should be an excellent fit with Schubert's great song cycle.
