This should get people talking...

After the Major League Soccer All-Stars were blown out by Manchester United, 4-0, at Red Bull Arena, MlS commissioner Don Garber said Philadelphia "will be in the mix" to host an All-Star Game in coming years.

Question for all of you: should it be at Lincoln Financial Field or PPL Park?

Another video you should watch: Marc Narducci's interview with Union goalkeeper Faryd Mondragón after the All-Star Game. Mondragón started between the pipes for the All-Stars and the first two Man U. goals were scored on his watch.

Love it to be at PPL Park but it's not big enough. And the Linc is too big. So I doubt it will be here anytime soon.

No thanks. Not interested given the way MLS runs the All-Star game. The MLS All-Star Game has become a ridiculous sideshow pitting a bunch of MLS stars who've never played together against a top European Club. The MLS stars are destined for failure no matter what in this setup; if MLS wins, everyone says "Oh, well [insert big Euro club name] was just in preseason / testing out reserves / didn't care enough to win." If MLS loses, everyone says "Ha ha, MLS is so, so inferior to European soccer, I only watch UEFA Champions League games, pass the Illy." MLS should go back to an all-MLS format and draw on MLS fans (not Manchester United wanna-be's). That way, at least for the foreseeable future, the game can be hosted in a smaller venue (like PPL park) and give the fans a better experience.
