MLS All-Star Game preview

Time: 9 p.m. Wednesday
TV: Fox Sports 1, UniMás, TSN 1/3/4/5, RDS

Scouting the All-Stars: There aren't any Union players on the team this year, but there are plenty of marquee talents from around the league who are worth watching.

Familiar names from the U.S. national team include goalkeeper Nick Rimando (Real Lake); defenders DaMarcus Beasley (Houston Dynamo), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City) and Omar González (Los Angeles Galaxy); midfielder Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City) and forwards Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders) and Gyasi Zardes (Los Angeles Galaxy).

The international contingent is led by Brazilian midfielder Kaká (Orlando City) and Spanish striker David Villa (New York City FC).

Don't be surprised, though, if the difference-maker ends up being a MLS stalwart who isn't such a big headliner. In particular, watch defenders Laurent Ciman (Montréal Impact) and Chad Marshall (Seattle Sounders), midfielders Fabián Castillo (FC Dallas) and Benny Feilhaber (Sporting Kansas City) and forward Kei Kamara (Columbus Crew) - this season's top scorer so far with 15 goals.

Scouting Tottenham: Expect to see U.S. national team defender DeAndre Yedlin line up alongside England's Kyle Walker, and Belgium's Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen. In midfield, the stars are Mousa Dembélé, Christian Eriksen, Nacer Chadli and Érik Lamela. The squad's biggest name of all is 22-year-old English striker Harry Kane, who scored 31 goals in 51 games last season.
