Games to Watch: EPL, Serie A, UEFA Champions League
Liverpool at Chelsea
8:45 a.m. Saturday (NBCSN)
When Jurgen Klopp took over as Liverpool's coach, he introduced himself as "The Normal One." It was a tribute to Chelsea's Jose Mourinho, who called himself "The Special One" when the Blues first hired him in 2004. Right now, both men would just take a win instead of the spotlight. Liverpool has drawn all three games under Klopp so far, despite having Christian Benteke back at striker; Chelsea has won just one of its last seven games despite a stacked roster led by Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.
Torino at Juventus
1:00 p.m. Saturday (beIN Sports)
Four-time reigning Serie A champion Juventus is shockingly stuck in 12th place through nine games this season. To make matters even worse, crosstown underdog Torino is in 10th - and a former Juve player, forward Fabio Quagliarella, is a big reason why. The big-spending "Bianconeri" need big names Paul Pogba, Juan Cuadrado and Mario Mandžukić to get in gear soon.
Paris Saint-Germain at Real Madrid
2:30 p.m. Tuesday (Fox Sports 2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN3.com)
Two of Europe's most star-studded teams meet in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. Zlatan Ibrahimović, Edinson Cavani and Ángel Di María lead PSG; Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez and Karim Benzema lead Real. Hopefully it won't be a repeat of the scoreless draw the teams played to in Paris earlier this month.
Arsenal at Bayern Munich
2:30 p.m. Wednesday (Fox Sports 1, ESPN Deportes)
When these teams last met earlier this month in London, Arsenal pulled off one of the biggest results of the Champions League season with a 2-0 win over Bayern. The result saved the Gunners' campaign after opening the group stage play with two straight losses. But there's still a lot of work left for Mesut Özil, Santi Cazorla and company - and it starts with a trip to Munich to face Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Müller and a Bayern side that will surely be out for revenge.
