WWE's Daniel Bryan stops burglar at his home in Phoenix

WWE superstar Daniel Bryan may be rehabbing from neck surgery, but he's still in good enough shape to stop a burglar at his home.

That's what happened Monday night, according to a report from ABC 15 in Arizona.

From the report:

According to Phoenix police, Bryan Danielson, better known as Daniel Bryan, was pulling into his carport with his wife when he saw the door that leads to his house start to open.

Two men ran out of the house and fled on foot. Danielson was able to catch one of the men, 22-year-old Cesar Sosa.

Sosa and Danielson got into a struggle but Danielson was able to detain him until officials arrived, police said.

The second suspect was not located.

The suspect Bryan caught was booked in the Maricopa County Jail and charged with burglary. Bryan being able to hold him down until the authorities doesn't come as much of a surprise since the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is known as a submission specialist and is trained in mixed martial arts.

Bryan is scheduled to speak with the media in Phoenix at some point this afternoon.
