WWE announces 2015 SummerSlam to take place in New York/New Jersey

For the first time since 2008, the WWE will not hold SummerSlam in the Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2015.

That's because the company announced Sunday that it will hold the it's second biggest annual event in the New York/New Jersey area.

However, he WWE did not specifically name which venue in the New York/New Jersey the show will emanate from.

The last time the WWE billed a major event being in the New York/New Jersey was WrestleMania 29 in 2013, which was held in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
