Sports Illustrated provides an inside look at TNA Wrestling

Sports Illustrated published an extensive piece on its web site Thursday detailing the inner-workings of TNA Wrestling.

The author, Loretta Hunt, interviewed TNA president Dixie Carter in what reads to have been a very candid conversation between the two.

Carter talks about how her family purchased the company from Jerry and Jeff Jarrett, how she came into power as president of the promotion, how the promotion was essentially saved by landing a deal with Spike TV, being a woman in a mostly male-dominated industry and much more.

It is a long read, but it is definitely worth the time and it may provide a new way of looking at Carter and TNA Wrestling as a whole.
