Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

Scott Hall, who spent the majority of his WWE career as Razor Ramon, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before WrestleMania in New Orleans, the company announced Monday night.

Before his time in WWE, Hall worked for a number of wrestling organizations in the late 1980s, most notably, the American Wrestling Association.

His first real break in the wrestling business, however, came as Razor Ramon in the WWE.

As Ramon, Hall portrayed a Tony Montana-like character that made no bones about the fact that he was a bad guy. Complete with the slick hair, a toothpick and a number of gold chains, Ramon used his distinct look and character to gain traction and eventually won the Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions.

His most famous title victory came against fellow Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels in a ladder match at WrestleMania X.

Hall eventually left WWE in 1996 for World Championship Wrestling, as he and friend Kevin Nash (Diesel in WWE) entered as The Outsiders, where they acted as if they were WWE stars invading WCW.

The duo eventually became a trio when Hulk Hogan joined the group and rechristened it the New World Order.

The NWO ran rough shot over WCW and helped the promotion beat WWE in the Monday night ratings war for more than a year.

After his career in wrestling Hall dealt with a number of personal issues including, but not limited to problems with addiction.

However, with the help of fellow former wrestler Diamond Dallas Page, Hall has seemingly turned his life around for the better and has focused his energy on helping his Cody get his start in the wrestling business.

Page also had a hand in helping Jake "The Snake" Roberts turn his life around and will provide the induction speech when he his enshrined alongside Hall at the Hall of Fame this year.
