Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling bringing one of three joint shows to Philadelphia

For the second year in a row, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will join forces, but this time will up the ante.

Instead of producing just two shows together like the promotions did in 2014, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will be presenting three, including one at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling will present War of the Worlds '15 at the 2300 Arena at 2300 S. Swanson St. Wednesday, May 13.

Tickets are on sale now for Ringside members and will be made available to the general public Friday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.

The other two joint shows, collectively titled Global Wars '15, will emanate from the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto, Ontario Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16.

"We're very excited to once again bring the stars of New Japan to our great fans," Ring of Honor Chief Operating Officer Joe Koff said in a statement. "New Japan Pro Wrestling is a fantastic partner with exceptional wrestlers and we always strive to give our fans an experience of a lifetime. With these stacked events, showcasing the best wrestlers in the world, we will do just that."
