Report: UFC's Tom Lawlor close to inking deal with Ring of Honor
UFC middleweight fighter Tom "Filthy" Lawlor is seeking to make his foray into professional wrestling a more consistent endeavor.
According to a report from TMZ.com, Lawlor is close to inking a more permanent deal with Ring of Honor.
Lawlor managed Ring of Honor tag team reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish) at the promotion's War of the Worlds show last month, but wants to expand his role with the company, including potentially jumping into the ring for a match.

From the report:
Our sources say Lawlor got UFC's blessing to work with ROH during his downtime … and he's excited to continue working with the reDRagon duo. For now he'll only be managing, but could still see some action from time to time.
TMZ also reports that Lawlor is expected to appear at Ring of Honor's first pay-per-view, Best in the World, June 22.
