WWE announced Monday during Raw that former New York Giants defensive lineman and current television personality Michael Strahan will guest host next week’s edition of Raw.

Next week’s Raw will emanate from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. so Strahan should be well received by the fans who watched him wreak havoc on NFL offenses, especially the Eagles’, for 15 seasons.

During his NFL career, Strahan racked up 141.5 sacks and was named to seven Pro Bowls. He was also named First-Team All-Pro four times.

Strahan is currently one half of the “Live” show with Kelly Ripa and is an NFL analyst on Fox.

Strahan is apparently good friends with John Cena. Cena even went out of his way to shake Strahan’s hand while he was sitting ringside before he took on The Rock at this year’s WrestleMania.
