MVP not cleared to wrestle, TNA changes main event of Slammiversary

A major change has been made to the main event of TNA Slammiversary, which set to take place this Sunday.

TNA World Champion Eric Young was scheduled to defend his title against MVP, but MVP has not been medically cleared for the match after suffering a knee injury while wrestling in England for Preston City Wrestling May 30.

TNA announced Friday that it will not only replace MVP, but will also add another person to make it a triple threat steel cage match.

The two new challengers for the title will be determined from two matches that will take place earlier in the show.

The first match will be between Bobby Lashley and Samoa. The second will be Kenny King going up against Austin Aries. The winner of each match will move on challenge Young for the title.
