House of Hardcore 10 results and observations

House of Hardcore presented its 10th show Friday night at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia and did so in eventful fashion.

The first that caught my eye was the elimination match between Tony Nese, JT Dunn and Alex Reynolds. All three men put on great performances, but Nese stood out the most, as he got the fans on their feet on multiple occasions by showcasing some great athleticism.

The very next match was a 10-person tag team match, as Colt Cabana teamed with the always entertaining Team Tremendous (Bill Carr and Dan Berry) and The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke) to against Vik Dalishus, TNA Wrestling's Jade and the Samoan Empire.

This was by far the most entertaining match of the evening, which came as no surprise with Cabana and Team Tremendous being involved. Before the match even started, Team Tremendous did their usual pat down of the referee and somehow found contraband on him.

After ejecting the official, they called for a competent one to replace him. They found one in the form of Earl Hebner.

As for the match itself, the interaction between Jade and the love struck Cabana was very funny and the series of dives from seemingly everyone in the match was entertaining as well.

After the intermission, Dean Malenko received his induction into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame. Malenko once wrestled at the 2300 Arena as a member of the original incarnation of Extreme Championship Wrestling. Eventually, he got an offer to leave ECW and join World Championship Wrestling, but before doing so, he wrestled one final match at the arena.

That match was against the late Eddie Guerrero, and on the 10th anniversary of Guerrero's death, Malenko revealed during his induction speech that the former WWE champion was being posthumously inducted into the 2300 Arena Hardcore Hall of Fame alongside him.

In the semi main event, we saw Austin Aries go up against his Dirty Heel tag team partner Bobby Roode. The story of this match was which heel could out-cheat the other.

In the end, it proved to be Aries that got away with one more rule-bending tactic than Roode and it helped him pick up the victory.

In the main event, Tommy Dreamer teamed up with fellow legend Tajiri to go up against TNA Wrestling's Eric Young and Ethan Carter III. The match was filled with a lot of shenanigans and interference from many, including Sabu and Sandman.

Eventually, Dreamer and Tajiri prevailed thanks to well-timed spit of the mist from Tajiri and piledriver from Dreamer.
