Full list of wrestling events taking place in Philadelphia this weekend

If you're a wrestling in the Philadelphia area, you're in store for a busy weekend.

That's because there a number of wrestling-related events that taking place in the area. Obviously, the reason for all of this is the WWE Royal Rumble, but let's take a look at the menu of other events that coming to Philly this weekend.

Friday

An Evening with Jim Ross, Starland Ballroom, Sayreville, N.J. at 8 p.m.

Jim Ross will produce the first of his two one-man shows in the are this weekend for the fans in Sayreville, N.J., where he will tell stories of 40-plus years in the wrestling business and will answer any and all questions from the fans.

Saturday

Ring of Honor: Winter Warriors, 2300 Arena, 2300 S. Swanson St. at 7 p.m.

Ring of Honor will continue its Winter Warriors tour at the 2300 Arena Saturday night. Among those scheduled to appear are The Briscoe Brothers, The Young Bucks, AJ Styles and Matt Sydal.

Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard Live Debate, Dave & Busters at 325 N. Columbus Blvd. at noon

Join Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard as they debate the famed Monday Night War with special guest moderator Chris Jericho.

CHIKARA: A New Start, 2300 Arena at 2300 S. Swanson St. at 2 p.m.

Join the whimsical world of Chikara as it produces its 2015 season opener at the 2300 Arena. The signed main event for the show is Icarus defending the Grand Championship of CHIKARA against Chuck Taylor.

An Afternoon with Jim Ross, Underground Arts at 1200 Callowhill Street at 3 p.m.

Join Jim Ross for a matinee of his one-man show where there will be more stories and anecdotes from his career.

Broad Street Beat Royal Rumble Tailgate, Wells Fargo Center Parking Lot D, at 4 p.m.

The good folks at BroadStreatBeat.com will be hosting a Royal Rumble tailgate in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Center hours before the Royal Rumble.

Fun is certain to happen.
