Lamar Odom’s issues with drugs and alcohol have come to light recently and are playing out in front of everyone in the viewing public.

Odom tried to fix the problem by going to rehab, but left after just one day. Although the former NBA champion has not reached to others for help, others have reached out to him — namely Sean Waltman.

Waltman, better known as former WWE wrestler X-Pac, is a recovering drug addict himself and has been in Odom’s position before.

That’s why Waltman said on Twitter that he reached out to Odom about his own issues.

In a Twitter conversation with a writer from FanSided.com, Waltman said that Odom not going to rehab is like “bringing a knife to gun fight” and publicly admitted he had reached out to him.

Whether Odom took heed to Waltman’s words is not currently known.
