UPDATE: Emma, real name Tenille Dashwood, was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing an iPad Mini case from a Walmart in Hartford, Conn., according to a report from TMZ.com.

The case was on sale for $21.14. According to Dashwood’s lawyer, the incident was an honest mistake, as she simply forgot to pay for the case while going through the self-checkout line.

Honest mistake or not Dashwood will still serve her debt to society in the form of one day of community service. She was handed the sentence during her court appearance Tuesday.
