Townsend and Vedge are named top wine restaurants
They're in good company. The list also includes the famed French Laundry, San Francisco's Atelier Crenn, and Spoon and Stable.
Two Philadelphia restaurants have made Wine Enthusiast magazine's list of America's Top 100 Wine Restaurants.
Townsend, Townsend "Tod" Wentz's French restaurant in East Passyunk, and Vedge, Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby's vegan destination in Washington Square West, show up in the August issue.
