Stalls from Goldie, Kensington Quarters, Pitruco Pizza, Little Baby's Ice Cream, and The Juice Merchant will make up most of a new Penn Food Hall, replacing Moravian Food Court at 34th and Walnut Streets at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ed Datz, the university's executive director of real estate, said the university wanted to meet food trends at the 10,000-square-foot space, which will have 174 seats when it opens in early 2018.

It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

Five of the seven vendors have been announced:

Goldie, the CookNSolo vegan falafel shop featuring falafel, french fries and tehina shakes.

A brick-and-mortar version of Pitruco Pizza, the mobile wood-fired pizza food truck that also is set up as Enjay's Pizza inside Smokey Joe's in University City.

Kensington Quarters, known for its butcher shop at its Fishtown restaurant, serving a KQ burger, a few other burgers, a cheesesteak, a seasonal sausage sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, beef-fat fries, and disco fries, among other items.

Little Baby's Ice Cream, the Fishtown/Kensington maker of small-batch, premium ice creams and nondairy frozen desserts.

The Juice Merchant Juicery and Café, with juices, smoothies, and whips.
