Market: A shop and BYOB for the Italian Market

Cousins Ryan Rubino and Anthony Barone — riding high with BarOne at Ninth and Catharine Streets, across the street from Rubino's family's South Philly's landmark Ralph's — have a new project on the way.
They're taking a storefront two blocks away at 943 S. Ninth St. in the heart of the Italian Market.
Market — that's the tentative name — will be what Rubino calls a boutique market by day, with Italian prepared foods and sandwiches, and a new-American BYOB by night.
"We want to step out of the box where we come from," said Rubino, who also operates the Ralph's in King of Prussia. The diverse cuisine, he said, will represent the neighborhood's melting pot character.
They're aiming to open around the Italian Market Festival, May 19-20.
