Sweet Charlie's was one of Philly's first shops serving made-to-order rolled ice cream, scraping the dessert on super-cooled metal pans.

For his next feat, owner Kyle Billig is infusing shots of booze in the creations, but only at the 1921 Walnut St. location.

Bailey's Pumpkin Spice or Godiva chocolate, perhaps?

Cheers! It's $3 on top of the ice cream price.

"Sweet Charlie's at Night" runs from 5 p.m. to closing Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

How can an ice cream shop serve booze?

A change in the state liquor code allows licensed restaurants to do off-premises catering.

A restaurant, which Billig declined to identify, is behind Sweet Charlie's bar, as it were.
