Good Dog Bar returns after a 9-week repair project

The popular Rittenhouse hang Good Dog Bar will reopen at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 after a nine-week project that included a new floor and a new kitchen.

Owners David and Heather Garry said repairs solved a persistent sag of the second floor at the hundred-year-old building. After 14 years, they decided that summertime/early fall would be the best time to do the work.

The spruce-up also exposed long-covered windows behind the bar.
