For the first time in two decades, the Rittenhouse Square BYOB destination Audrey Claire (20th and Spruce Streets) is offering weekend brunch.

Menu has a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean approach, including shakshuka, a mezze platter, hummus and laffa, and a lamb burger, plus fruit mixers.

Sibling restaurant Twenty Manning Grill (20th and Manning Streets) started brunch early this year, shortly after Rouge owner Rob Wasserman bought both restaurants and installed Michael Yeamans as chef at both 20th Street restaurants.

Founder Audrey Taichman said AC offered brunch about a year after its 1996 opening. While it was busy, she texted Thursday, "I couldn't stand waking up that early."

Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It's cash only. Unlike Audrey Claire's usual policy, reservations are being taken.
