Attico, a lush cocktail bar/restaurant with sweet Center City views from 16 stories up, has opened on the roof of the new Cambria Hotel, across from the Bellevue at 219 S. Broad St.

Easy access: Pop into the lobby, walk 10 feet, and hit the button for the rooftop.

Jason Cichonski, chef-owner of Ela in Queen Village, is overseeing the venture as part of his nascent hospitality-management company. He's working with Ela manager Stacey Lyons and chef Matthew Gansert, formerly of Resurrection Ale House, Will BYOB, and Jaxson BYOB. (The project's opening was delayed by nearly two months over issues involving a previous management arrangement.)

The conservatory leads out to a large outdoor patio, festooned with lights and decorated with trees.

Greenery is designed to keep patrons from getting too close to the edge. (Check my Instagram video for a walk-through.)

Attico is ramping up its hours. For now, it's open from 5 to 11 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Monday hours begin Oct. 1.

Lunch and Sunday brunch are on their way.

The food menu for now is limited to snacks: hand-cut chips; almonds & olives; the Maya pumpkin seed dip known as sikil pak; assorted cheeses; and oysters, plus cocktails and a decent wine list.

Here's the happy-hour deal, too.
