Zahav - the Israeii destination restaurant in Society Hill Towers - needs more room.

(Well, of course. It needs to house that fourth bell.)

There's a hearing set for Aug. 1 for its bid to add space to the east, which was a recording studio when Zahav opened in 2008.

Co-owners Steve Cook said he and chef-partner Michael Solomonov need more room to seat larger parties. They're basically maxed out at 12 people.

Doubt it. Hasidim presumably keep kosher, and Zahav is not kosher.
