Wursthaus Schmitz - a to-go spot from the crew behind the South Street German Brauhaus Schmitz - soft-opened Saturday, Nov. 3 in Reading Terminal Market.
For now, it's a Delikatessen selling prepared salads and cured meats, and there's a selection of Teutonic groceries.
The cooking from chef Jeremy Nolen will start in a week or two after its overhead hood is hooked up. On that menu will be various brats as well as a sandwich dubbed the Lyoner - fried bologna, Muenster, dill pickle, horseradish sauce, and raw onion.
