Little Nonna´s.
Little Nonna's.

Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran are firming up the timelines for the renovation of their Mexican spot Lolita (106 S. 13th St.) and the opening of their trattoria Little Nonna's (1234 Locust St.).

As it looks now, there won't be major overlap in the two projects two blocks apart:

Lolita will close Aug. 3 to get - as Turney says - "a sweet new shade of lipstick" (including a liquor license, new kitchen and bar with seating). That work is expected to take two months.

Meanwhile, they expect to open Little Nonna's in late July or early August.
