Four restaurants now carry the exalted four-bell rating from The Inquirer's Craig LaBan.

Next Sunday - in an exclusive package in The Inquirer and on Philly.com/food - the region's most-read restaurant critic will name his top picks in the Philadelphia area.

Five restaurants will be awarded four bells.

LaBan considered more than a dozen contenders in our restaurant-rich region. Did Lacroix at the Rittenhouse, Fountain Restaurant at the Four Seasons, Le Bec-Fin and Vetri emerge once again with the highest rating? Did other restaurants on the cusp of greatness finally ascend to the top?

Questions, questions.

What are your predictions about LaBan's four-bell finest? Answer below in the comments.

This seems like compromising integrity all for the sake of gimmick. Four bells are now about as prestigious as the Pepsi challenge

An ounce of pretentious is worth a pound of manure and most of the restaurants suggested fall into that category and so some of the people that frequent them

After your last review, who gives a damn. You are over and what you write means little.
