Just a few years ago, Aaron McCargo Jr. was a onetime restaurateur from South Jersey who took the executive chef's job at Thomas Jefferson University.

Now, he has a Food Network show and travels the world as a celeb chef.

And it's all because he applied to be on a little show called Next Food Network Star, which he won.
