Utley and Burrell: Toast of the town

When you're Chase Utley and Pat Burrell, everyone's your friend.

Center City's new steakhouse Butcher & Singer was abuzz last night when the second baseman and wife Jen and the leftfielder and his wife Michelle walked in with their friends, lawyer Justin Wineburgh and publicist Nicole Cashman.

A guy dining nearby comped their dinner -- no small feat, given the tab was north of $600.

Utley and Burrell showed good humor while signing autographs. Their next stop was the roof deck of Continental Mid-town, where others offered to pick up the tab.

The Utleys leave shortly for their long-delayed honeymoon, a trip to Africa. Presumably, they're paying their own way.
