Construction is finally moving forward again at Chinatown Square, the food hall taking over from the longtime Shanghai Bazaar at 1016 Race St. in Chinatown.

Operators now say 13 food companies are signed on as tenants for the two-story building, whose target opening is now November.

Previously announced were The Halal Guys (a franchised street-fooder that recently opened a branch in King of Prussia), I CE NY (a Thai rolled ice cream shop), and Philly Poke (a specialist in the raw-fish dish called poke).

Add to the mix are Khmer Grill (selling Cambodian street food), Hi Kori (a Japanese street-fooder with a whiskey/sake/tea cocktail bar), and Dae Mun (a full-service Korean restaurant on the second floor in the front window, serving soondubu (soft tofu), tableside BBQ, traditional entrees, and apps served with banchan (side dishes).
