Underdogs in South Philly has gone under.

The hot dog shop opened last October at 1205 S. Ninth St. - next to Geno's.

The flagship at 17th and Sansom Streets in Center City is unaffected, says owner Robert Amar.

"We tried," Amar told me. He said he would hunker down, regroup, and try to open another location.
