Jose Garces will be front and center on the new season of Food Network's Iron Chef America.

He's 2-0 since winning his title.

Set the DVR for:

  • Sunday, Sept. 12 at 10 p.m. when he takes on Portland-based chef Naomi Pomeroy.

  • Sunday, Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. for a battle against chef Katsuya Fukushima, who works for Jose Andres in D.C. and like Garces has mad Latin culinary skills.

Wasn't Marc Vetri supposed to be on last season against Michael Symon? Did that ever happen/air?

you can go to Garces and get a better deep dish pizza for the same price you'd get from a sloppy corner pizza joint owned by filthy slobs who serve frozen everything.
