Food Network has greenlit a sixth season of its highest-rated reality series, The Next Food Network Star, and the net wants chefs and home cooks to try out for the 2010 season.

Philly folks have made it in past seasons (Aaron McCargo Jr. and Adam Gertler) and Katie Cavuto is on the current season. 

Philly won't host tryouts this time out, so you can either hop online to www.FoodNetwork.com/Star or travel to:

Phoenix – Wednesday, July 8, from 10am-4pm at Embassy Suites Phoenix/Scottsdale (4415 East Paradise Village Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85032)

Chicago – Sunday, July 12, from 10am-4pm at Affinia Chicago Hotel (166 East Superior, Chicago, IL 60611)

Austin – Friday, July 17, from 10am-4pm at Hyatt Regency Downtown (208 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78704)

San Francisco – Sunday, July 26, from 10am-4pm at W San Francisco (181 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94103)

New York – Friday, July 31, from 10am-4pm at CBS (530 W. 57th Street, New York, NY 10019)

Los Angeles – Monday, August 10, from 10am-4pm at Saddle Ranch (8371 West Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069)

San Diego – Monday, August 17, from 12pm–5pm at W San Diego (421 W. B Street, San Diego, CA 92101)

@TSR Shows like this will usually conduct a large scale interview session and immediately weed out people who dont show "personality" in there allotted time to impress the judges.
