The live, call-in show of Tony Bruno, one of the first sports talkers on WIP, just got a pickup from ESPN950.

The South Philly-raised Bruno, who lives in Venice, Calif., will take the 10 p.m.-to-1 a.m. slot.

First night will be Monday, Jan. 12, and as one of the few Eagles boosters on national radio, he says he's itching to talk up the Eagles-Giants game.

Actually, this will be a second tour for Bruno on 950. The station carried his old morning show, then syndicated by Sporting News Radio, before it was dumped a year ago.

Bruno's show is now heard on about a dozen stations, including L.A., San Francisco, Miami and Salt Lake City.

More Michael Bradley?? Have you actually ever listened to this guy? He is flat out terrible, I don't think I ever heard him have one caller.

Tony Bruno's more knowledgeable and entertaining than Ike at Night and Tirrico.
