Everybody wants to get into this food truck racket.

Daytime TV's Live With Kelly and Michael is hosting 10 trucks from around the country, competing for fame and glory in Live's "Truckin’ Amazing Cook-Off.

Each Friday for 10 weeks, a trucker will show up, do a demo, present a recipe, and hope to get votes.

Last week, the Mustache Mobile and Michael “The Butcher” Hauke of the seminal Atlantic City sandwich shop Tony Boloney's whipped up his Cheesesteak Ole.

Next up - 9 a.m. May 31 - will be George Bieber of the Sunflower Truck Stop: Mobile Café, usually found at the Phoenixville Farmers Market. His dish is Roast Sweet Potato Quesadilla with Quinoa.

The third Philly-area truck is Sugar Philly and chef Dan Tang, whose date has not been announced. His thing is French macarons.

Sugar Philly, by the way, will compete in the 2013 Vendy Awards, which are June 8. Info is here.
