A ♯ idea from a jazzman: A truck selling ♭ burgers
A new venture from impresario Matt Feldman of Lucky Old Souls.
It might be some time before jazz impresario Matt "Feldie" Feldman gets his South Philly jazz club open. (See his plans from October 2009.)
More immediately, Feldman says, he is working on a Lucky Old Souls Burger Truck to launch this fall. Menu will include burgers from locally sourced beef (and veggies), fries, and milkshakes.
The truck (purchased from Renaissance Sausage) has speakers mounted on the roof and will serve as a mobile ambassador for Lucky Old Souls and help to promote jazz in Philly in general, he said in an email.
The truck's route has not been determined. Feldman has put it on Twitter (@LOSBurgerTruck) and Facebook (facebook.com/LuckyOldSouls).
