Where there's a Will

Will, a BYOB coming to 1911 E. Passyunk Ave.

Pumpkin alum Christopher Kearse's solo debut - a BYO at 1911 E. Passyunk Ave. with the search-engine-unoptimized name Will BYOB - opens the reservation book (215-271-7683) on Aug. 10 in anticipation of an Aug. 24 debut.

Modern French-inspired menu will focus on ingredients that are locally grown, harvested and foraged. Kearse will serve dinner Tuesdays through Sundays, brunch on Sundays and offer a four-course $40 prix-fixe menu on Sundays.

Props to Kearse and developer Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corp. for a timely build-out. When I spoke to Kearse moments after he signed the lease in April, he said he'd open in late August.

Sam Sherman and PARC have been a blessing for the area! I'm excited to check out the new spot from a talented chef.
