The back story of Feastival

The back story of Feastival

It's not easy being an arts group in 2010, so when the Philly Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe realized earlier this year that $125,000 in grant money was going away, organizers knew they had to do something.

Restaurateur Audrey Taichman, a board member, suggested bringing the arts and restaurant communities together for a gala.

Feastival, as tonight's sold-out event is called, is expected to raise more than $200,000.

Read how it went down.
