The second location for HipCityVeg - the vegan quick-serve - is teed up to open sometime next week at 214 S. 40th St. in University City.

It's in a former Chinese restaurant, around the corner from the Rave movie theater.

Same menu and concept but about 35 seats.

Owner Nicole Marquis is brushing off questions about a new restaurant she is working on at 131 S. 13th St.
