Liquid Room coming to Kensington

Back when, El Presidente was a workingman's corner bar at Second and Master Streets in Kensington.
Seven years ago, entrepreneur Ramonita Rivera bought it with the idea of opening it as a contemporary bar.
In that time. the neighborhood - the pocket north of Northern Liberties, just two blocks north of Girard Avenue - has come up.
And now, that bar is about to open.
Liquid Room (1361 N. Second St.) soft-opens Friday, Dec. 7. Mediterranean-influenced menu, bars on two levels (eight crafts on tap), plenty of street parking.

2nd and master is Kensington. grew up there, drank at this bar when it was McNulty's (60's and before) and Bradley's (70's). Perhaps you should do a little research.— my- yeah..like you ever went to el presidente— joegrink
