Tamarindo's resurfaces in Flourtown

The Mexican restaurant closed in Blue Bell over the summer.

Tamarindo's, which over the summer vacated its longtime home in Broad Axe Shopping Center on Skippack Pike, has reopened 10 minutes away in Flourtown.

Fernando Sauri's Yucatan-style Mexican BYOB's new spot is a former construction company's offices at 726 Bethlehem Pike (215-619-2390), just north of Scoogi's.

The two cozy dining rooms are decorated in sunny yellow, offsetting stone walls.

It's open Tuesday to Friday for lunch, Tuesday to Sunday for dinner. Most dinner entrees are in the teens, with a few outliers ($29.95 for the ribeye, $27.95 for Black Angus filet).
