Construction continued today on the unnamed burger shack on Franklin Square.

Stephen Starr's burger joint on Franklin Square was supposed to open Friday (July 3).

Starr told me that the permanent structure has been delayed. The soft opening will be July 10, with a "grand opening" sometime the next week.

Not only does the shack need more work, it needs a name. (I've heard a few ideas tossed around. Lamest was the simple "Food" -- in which the two O's resemble the lenses in a pair of Ben Franklin bifocals.)

For now, the operation is running out of a tent.

How about "Burgers at the Ben" or something similar?
