Starr and Olexy opening restaurant in Fishtown

Stephen Starr and Aimee Olexy, building on Talula's Garden and Talula's Daily on Washington Square, are setting up in Fishtown for their next project.

The ink is barely dry on a liquor license application at 1526-30 Frankford Ave., a former warehouse a few blocks north of his beer garden, Frankford Hall, and barbecue restaurant, Fette Sau.

The long-derelict building was restored last year.

The property has a large yard.

Starr told me that the name and concept are not final but that the yard will contain a vegetable garden when it opens this spring.
