Spices, olive oils and nuts at Reading Terminal Market

And flavored vinegars you didn't realize you needed.

Spices, olive oils and nuts at Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market has two new stalls along Avenue D, the new aisle on the east side of the market.

The Head Nut, an offshoot of the Molineaux family's bulk-food biz that started in Ardmore in 1968, fills a vacancy open since last winter when Spice Corner closed.

The Tubby Olive is a branch of the olive oil and vinegar shop run by Sharon Huss and Nancy Murray in Newtown, Bucks County. They offer more than 30 flavored olive oils and vinegars on tap.

The market says the next openings this fall will be Wursthaus Schmitz, a German stand from the Brauhaus Schmitz people, and Valley Shepherd Creamery, the cheesemaker.
