Sip-N-Glo to open third location, at 17th and Sansom

It will replace a pet boutique next to Bella Turka jewelry.

Four years after getting into the juice biz with Sip-N-Glo Juicery, Kristin Lubsen is opening her third location in a part of Center City that has become a magnet for gyms and yoga studios.

Sip-N-Glo will replace a pet boutique next to Bella Turka jewelry at 1700 Sansom St., across the street from the Sofitel.

Opening day will be April 7 after soft openings on April 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The first 50 people through the door on April 7 (hours 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.) will get swag bags, including a 1-ounce "wellness shot."

A portion of the sales during the first weekend (7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) will go to Philadelphia Futures.

Besides made-to-order smoothies, this shop will offer 1-ounce wheatgrass shots with complimentary chasers made of coconut water, lime, and Himalayan sea salt. (Wheatgrass shots are not to everyone's tastes.) On Wednesdays in April from 5 to 7 p.m., the shots will be buy one, get one free.

Lubsen opened her first Sip-N-Glo juice shop in 2013 at 932 South St., across from Whole Foods. The second, at 257 S. 20th St., opened in 2015.
