Sabatino and hot holiday fun at RiverRink

For 33 days between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, the waterfront will hold a pop-up holiday village. The grounds will be designed by David Fieraband of Groundswell Design and will feature a 400-person warming tent created from recycled shipping containers surrounded by a garden oasis of pine trees, fire pits, and rink.

Chef George Sabatino heated up the summer at Morgan's Pier on the Delaware.

He's coming back to the riverfront to cook for the holiday season.

With RiverRink marking its 20th anniversary, the Delaware River Waterfront Corp. is transforming the Penn's Landing rink into the Waterfront Winterfest.

For 33 days between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve, the waterfront will hold a pop-up holiday village. The grounds will be designed by David Fierabend of Groundswell Design and will feature a 400-person warming tent created from recycled shipping containers surrounded by a garden oasis of pine trees, fire pits, and rink.

The tent will house a restaurant by Avram Hornik's Four Corners Management with Sabatino serving a new take on winter favorites.
