No foul tips: Ryan Howard and Phillies play waiter

Morton's in Philly hosts a benefit for the first baseman's foundation.

The Morton's steakhouse in Center City had a sports-filled day as Eagles tight end Brent Celek was in there for a photo shoot during the afternoon, gearing up for his celebrity server event on Oct. 25.

Ryan Howard and his Phillies were in at night for the sold-out Ryan Howard Family Foundation Celebrity Server event, which raised $116,000 for his foundation, which works to improve the lives of disadvantaged youth and families. Among the Phils who put on aprons to serve the double-cut filet mignons were Cole Hamels, Raul Ibanez, Ryan Madson, Jamie Moyer, Chase Utley, Shane Victorino, Kyle Kendrick, J.A. Happ, Jose Contreras, and Ben Francisco.

Hot ticket at the live auction item was a private dinner with Howard at Morton's. It originally was set for four people and sold for $7,500, but the winners asked if they could do dinner for eight people instead, and bidders Rich Donnelly and Liz Hastings got it for $15,000.
